Came here on a recent trip to PA at the recommendation of several close friends. Enjoyed it so much I went back a second time! Twisted pierogies were delish as was the naked pig sandwich. Gator bread is a must-try (very flavorful) and so are the skillet nachos.
Service from the bar was fabulous! They're adept @ making standard favorites as well as creative new drinks. Everyone was friendly, personable and gracious. Had the occasion to meet the owner & his wife - they're a lovely couple. Johnny & Hons is a great addition to the area. -

My family & I went here during a thunderstorm as our electric went out & we could not cook anything unless we wanted to build a campfire. We went here as it was close. My sister said she loves Johnny & Hons, although I have no idea why. When we got there, there were 5 other customers in the entire building due to the weather. We waited at least 10 minutes to be seated. Not sure why it took so long. We were seated, orders were taken. Our food was mediocre. My mother ordered a medium burger & it came out medium rare chock full of grease. My siblings & I each ordered wings. The sauce was great; sadly i can't say the same thing for the wings. The wings are super dry & we're not fresh. Tastes like they've been frozen for some time. I've had fresh frozen wings before
& they've been fine. My siblings said the same thing about theirs. Great sauce, poor quality food. I understand some restaurants function better when there are more people around but it shouldn't matter how many people are in your restaurant. Was originally so happy to possibly have a nice new restaurant favorite to go to thay was close to home but nope. Looks like I still won't be able to find better wings than PJ Wellighans. -

The owner was very off putting as he was completely annihilated drunk and sexually harassing the women in our group like he was a big shot showing off to his alcoholic friends. This is another example of that pathetic stereotype that effects mediocre bars. After relaying the story to a local it became understood that this is par for the course here and many women feel unsafe around the owner. We won't be back, let the adult adolescent take out his failed life on other people through his stinky beer breath.

Have been here several times and it is a "hit or miss" type of place. A bunch of us visited Saturday night to celebrate 2 birthdays. Waitress was nice. Food was lousy. Wings were boiled not deep fried, not crispy at all (I could only eat 2 of the 6 I ordered) New England clam chowder came out brown and burnt tasting. Ketchup in the ancient grimy bottles on the table tasted off and sour. Piggy fries came out cold. The 10 of us left feeling bloated and ill. Several of our group went home after we left due to feeling unwell. Sunday two couple still felt unwell. Save your money and drive farther down the road!

I am on the fence about this place but think I would give them another go. Waitress was very friendly, but the overall amount of time for the food was on the long side. Our food came out about one minute after our apps, which is always a small annoyance.
We had gotten the tater skins, which came out looking like twice baked potatoes (mashed potatoes on top) and the cheese sauce was not for me. The mac n cheese was okay, but I expected much better from a place like this. Chicken tenders, average, more than likely from a bag. Handcut looking fries still were raw in the middle. The boneless wings tasted good based on crispyness, however we had gotten mild wings and there was no spice to them (and I cannot stand too much spice) On a good note, my boyfriend got the meat platter, which he was a fan of the selections he got and said that was the best part of the meal.
